Global Business and Entrepreneurship:

 Students enrolled will be a part of “The Catalyst,” an innovative and advanced entrepreneurial program that offers hands-on, real-world experiences in global business and entrepreneurship. Students will develop a new business idea and potentially bring it to market. Students will be fully immersed in a professional learning environment and will gain experience working with real businesses, participating in site visits, as well as learning through meaningful projects. In addition to connecting with professionals in a wide variety of industries, students will have the opportunity to earn an internship with our business partners. The course will culminate in a pitch competition where students can win scholarships and funding.

 

Humanities and Social Sciences:

 Students enrolled will be a part of “The Catalyst,” an experiential learning and professional immersion program that offers hands-on, real-world experiences in the humanities and social sciences. Areas that will be explored include communication, education, law, politics, and nonprofits, among others. Students in this program have the flexibility to explore an area of passion, including but not limited to developing a nonprofit business idea, interning in a law office, serving in a school or university, as well as other ideas to be explored with the student and instructor.   Students will gain experience working with real professionals in the aforementioned fields, participating in site visits, as well as learning through meaningful projects. In addition to connecting with professionals in a wide variety of industries, students will have the opportunity to earn an internship with our partners. Students in this course may have the opportunity to win scholarships and funding for their ideas.

Education, Instruction, and Leadership:

This collaborative teaching program helps prepare associates for careers in education. Focus is on general theory and practice of teaching and learning, the principles of educational psychology, the planning and implementation of educational activities, and school safety and health.  The course combines a focus on teaching methods with time spent in the classroom working directly with students. Associates also have the opportunity to interact with education professionals.
